The artist utilises the well know book 'What to expect when you're
expecting' to high light the contradictory nature of the personal censorship
of pregnancy, birth and postpartum experiences. Through the work, the artist
questions whether there are untold truths which are silenced, locked up and
kept within a mothers psyche, only accessible to those who have participated
in the experience.
